STATE OF TEXAS CHAMPIONSHIP QUALIFIERS
Steinholding, or masskrugstemmen, is a traditional Bavarian strength contest in which competitors hold a full one-liter beer stein (or Masskrug/Mass in German) out in front of their bodies with a straight arm, parallel to the ground.
This year the Hill Country Craft Beer Festival is hosting a United States Steinholding Association State of Texas Championship Qualifier. This sanctioned competition is open to 30 men and 30 women who will compete to move on to the State of Texas Steinholding Championship in the Fall.

Registration
Festival entry ticket required. Open to all festival patrons. On-site walk-up registration during festival.
First-come first served. Limited to 30 women and 30 men.
Cost
$20 (in addition to festival entry ticket). Non-cash payment accepted at time of registration.
Competitors keep their stein and the beer that comes in it.
Heat Times
Heat #1: Women: 5:30 PM
Heat #2: Men: 5:45 PM
Prizes
One (1) pair of HCCBF 2026 VIP tickets to each winner.
